Carlisle can be reached from the M6, exiting at Junction 43, taking the A69 down Warwick road to the roundabout at Hardwick Circus. Take the North Exit, then turn right onto the B6264 down Brampton Road. The University of Cumbria Campus will be on your left.
Carlisle can be reached from major train lines from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle and the West Coast Main Line. Carlisle train station is situated at the top of Botchergate (see Carlisle City Map). Taxis are available outside of the station.
